Answer:
No..  Fruit raises insulin levels, therefore high levels at night will not promote weight loss and may disrupt your sleep.

Answer:
YES..  Make sure the fruit is in its own juice, not heavy syrup.

Answer:

No..  Starch turns to sugar too close to bedtime

NO... Your spouse can join but, each individual has different caloric needs.

Is alcohol permitted?

Yes..  You are allowed 3 drinks a week.

Sugar -Free Jello, Diet Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate or Sugar-Free Popsicles

Can I eat the skin or dark meat of a chicken or turkey or chicken wings?
Answer:
NO..  Dark meat and the skin are very high in fat and cholesterol.

Is the yogurt with the fruit on the bottom permitted?
Answer:
No..  Stay with the Light brands, the fruit on the bottom is loaded with sugar.
Question:
When I exercise what is my maximum heart rate?
Answer:
Subtract 220 minus your age.  (example> if your age is 49, your maximum heart rate for 1 minute is 171 beats per minute)  To get the best results your heart rate should be 65% - 70% of your maximum heart rate.

What should i eat before exercising?
Answer:
A half a piece of fruit is great.  DO NOT exercise of a full stomach.

Do I stay on this diet the rest of my life?
